Terms of use
Draft, not legal advice: review before launch. This is a plain-English draft written for a small service. The owner must have it reviewed, fill in the governing law and confirm every fact below before the site opens to the public.
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
These terms are between you and the owner of Skill Manifest ("we"). By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Questions go to the contact address on this site.
Using the site
- Guests. Anyone can read the first three lessons. An account gives you every lesson, the catalog and its assistant, and your own projects.
- Your account. Keep your sign-in safe and tell us if someone else uses it. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 16, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.
- Your projects are yours. Other users can't see them. You give us the right to store and process them only so we can run the service for you, including sending them to the AI as you ask. See the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to:
- break the law or other people's rights, or make or spread malware, spam or abuse;
- try to get around the AI allowance, the sign-up limits or other limits, for example with many accounts or automated requests;
- attack, probe or overload the site, or reach another person's data;
- scrape the whole site or resell access to the assistant;
- put secrets, passwords or other people's personal data into your projects or questions.
We may remove content or disable an account that breaks these rules, without notice if the risk is serious.
The AI assistant and the daily cap
- The assistant can be wrong. Its answers and suggestions come from an AI model. Check them before you rely on them. Files you download were checked for structure only and were never run on our side: read them, especially hooks and scripts, before you install them.
- A daily AI cap applies to every new account. It limits how much AI you can use each day, so the service stays fair and affordable. When it is used up, the assistant pauses until 00:00 UTC and your saved work stays safe. We may change the cap or the sign-up rules at any time, for example if costs or misuse change.
- Free for now. The service has no price today. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
The catalog and other people's content
- Skills, agents, prompts, rules, plugins, MCP servers and other components in the catalog come from public repositories. Each component keeps its own upstream licence, which belongs to its authors. The catalog shows summaries and links to the source: read the licence there before you copy or use a component.
- We write the reviewed summaries and we link to sources. We do not own the components and don't promise they are safe, correct or fit for your purpose.
- If you are an author and want a component changed or removed from the catalog, write to the contact address on this site.
Not affiliated
This site teaches and works with Claude Code. It is not made by, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic. Product names belong to their owners.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that its content is accurate. Where the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages that come from using the site, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, which today is nothing. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited, or liability for intent or gross negligence.
Ending your use
- You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to the contact address on this site.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that stays unused for a long time, and we may end the whole service. We will give notice when we reasonably can, and you can download your work first.
Changes
We may change these terms. We will update the date at the top, and tell you on the site before a change that matters takes effect. If you keep using the site afterwards you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [governing law and courts: to be added before launch], except where mandatory consumer rules in your own country say otherwise.
